Your friendly neighborhood clinical instructor.

I'm an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist, and I've spent a lot of time on both sides of the learning curve — first as the student trying to keep up, and now as the clinical instructor watching students go through the same thing.

Here's what I've noticed: the gap most students struggle with isn't a knowledge gap. It's a connection gap. You know the special tests. You know the diagnoses. But nobody hands you the map that shows how it all fits together in the room, with a real patient, in real time.

That's the gap Thinking Clinically exists to close.

I built this space to slow things down — to walk through the reasoning, not just the facts. Because a good clinician doesn't just recognize a pattern. They understand why the pattern exists. That's what builds real confidence, and it's what I want to help you build too.

Outside of teaching, I also work as a practicing outpatient PT, treating runners and older adults who want to keep moving well as they age — if that's you, there are resources for you too.
